@paintsplattered: yes, it is quite hard to wash because of the high fat percentage. And it is even worse to get the shower clean afterwards ;)

I would NEVER support the over-woke pledge that Kaukasian people should NOT wear dreadlocks (btw even the vikings wore them), that People of Color should NOT dye their hair blond, that children should NOT play native Americans when they love to do so because they admire the looks.
I think culture works much better when knowledge and "tribal rituals" are shared and understood, rather then telling "the other ones" NOT to do so.

With all m black bodypaint images, I think I just had about 4 sad experiences with overly-woke but rather detail-blind people of Kaukasian ethnic background, who misunderstood my work in a tradition of racistic blackface.
It is like calling everyone who is regularly using knifes a 'murderer' just because it could be misused for that.
And most of us are lucky enough to live in countries with guaranteed freedom of speach, expression and art.

I have always been a big fan of shiny black bodypaint, my glossy black oil mix will be celebrated zhis summer on its 10th anniversary (there is more on twitter: @paint_pure).
I never had any racist intention, it is just shiny black paint and obviously this is perceived as this.
