Now that is a truly awesome shot. Most of the outfit that we can see still clean, but a the same time, you can just imagine what's happening to the front of your dress. Bet that felt amazing, I've always loved that "just past the point of no return" moment when you know you're fully committed and the first hint of wetness coming through your clothes is starting to make itself felt, but you're not yet fully covered. Nice! :thumbsup:

Yeah, that's what we thought when we first saw it. Nowadays we pretty much have everything we need, the gunging outfits wardrobe takes up an entire suite of rooms, but we still like to have a look round the charity shops for anything that leaps out as a must-have, and this dress certainly did that! We still have it so it'll be getting the messy treatment again at some point.

From what I remember, it wasn't that hard to wash out, though we do have unlimited hot water for hosedowns which always helps.

I think it was more "and you're going to pour *what* all over her? This was just before Miss Pink's Bean Feast - https://saturationhall.umd.net/download_info/miss_pinks_bean_feast - she'd specifically asked to do a savoury scene, and this was her last chance to change her mind and do custard instead. :D

Funnily enough that was Friday's reaction when we outlined this scene to her. :) Officially she's supposed to be "punishing" Honeysuckle for stripping to just underwear for a gunging at the London Splosh Games, but then our House Rules kick in so Honeysuckle gets to get her own back even as she's being punished. So at first Friday pretends to be all "oh no" as she gets messy too - but in reality she loved the idea - she's done custard down skin tight yoga pants for us a few times now.

And indeed, well spotted on the outfits, Honeysuckle is wearing a blue two-piece rainwear suit over a swimsuit while Rosemary is in her womens-fit charcoal grey boilersuit.

The scene started with Rosemary pouring some custard into Maude's shirt pocket, Maude responded by dipping Rosemary's tie in a can of custard and the pouring some down the front of the tie too. Needless to say, both their ties got properly plastered in mess by the end! :thumbsup:

I remember this one, there was an awesome preview shot of you sliding down a mud bank, back of skirt totally coated, rest of outfit still clean. But not for much longer. :D

Effectively, it's both. When we finish a mud scene the girls get a basic wash off with 20 litre bottles of warm water we carry in the van, then they change into either boilersuits or sportswear for the journey back, often keeping their wet underwear from the shoot on under the dry clothes, and then when we get back to the Hall they get properly hosed down, and we sometimes film this with them still wearing their by now somewhat damp travelling-back outfits. Susie is keeping her head shaved through the summer, and I've always wanted to work with a shaven headed model (I adored Sinead O'Connor's look with shaved head and jeans back in the day) so yes, there should be plenty more from us with this look to come.

Brilliant, totally brilliant. That nice clean vest she's got under her shirt is surely about to come to a very sloppy end, as the shirt itself is already doing, and the pooled mess on her jeans is perfect.

And this is a wonderful shot too. Perfect framing, we can see all the way down to her boots, so when the eggs come down we'll see the wetness flow over her jeans. Lovely view of how messy her friend's jeans have got, and the spaghetti hoops just casually left on the shoulders of her shirt, which is still mainly dry for now but clearly won't be for much longer. And can you imagine how those eggs will feel when they start to flood down her back inside her top? Oh hell yeah! :thumbsup:

This is going to be gloopy! I love everything about this shot. She has an absolutely lovely expression, and she clearly knows exactly what is about to happen to her. You can just imagine the anticipation as she waits for the first eggs to splash wetly down inside her top, and her jeans are going to suffer too. Though of course they already are to an extent as she's sitting in the spilled mess from what her friend just received. Magic, absolute WAM magic. Beautifully framed shot too.
I believe they did, amazing what a washing machine cycle can rescue, at least once or twice.

They absolutely loved pouring mud into each other's hair - to be honest we do a lot of focus on hair messing, it's just that in our scenes it tends be to after the clothes are totally covered as we mess our people up starting with their outfits, and keeping their heads and hair clean till the end, as a grand finale.
I believe it did - she had lots down inside her outfit too, all squishy and squelchy inside her skirt and blouse. :thumbsup:

@Maria: This was the moment where you nailed Rosemary in the crotch with the pie but you got yourself in the face with the side-spray from the pie, I still can't believe I managed to capture it so perfectly with this shot, one of those magic moments you could never plan but just works in the instant. Brilliant fun! :D
Sure, thought possibly not till the weather improves a bit, I was out there at 2am last night in a howling gale, definitely not bathing in the mud weather! :-D

Well, normally we'd fill it with custard and cream, and at least one of the nearby ladies would be worried/excited (with our wenches you can probably guess which :D ) that her clothing may not remain clean and dry for much longer... :thumbsup:

Thanks both! Clothes-filling is for me the ultimate form of wam, and filling bra-tops like that is fun because they always leak in the centre and send a stream of mess down to flow over (or sometimes down inside) whatever the girl is wearing on her lower half - in this case Susie's already custard-drenched disco pants. :thumbsup:
Glad you like it! TBH we've got lots of scenes where there are detailed shots of the girls' hair getting messed up and stuff shampooed in, but on our scenes they tend to be nearer the end as our girls mess each others' clothes up first, and only move on to head and face coverage at the end. But we do like to make sure that clean hair is comprehensively given the treatment. Shot a custom recently where Honeysuckle had slices of melting chocolate gateaux mashed into her long black locks. :D
Oh yes, Felicity is quite a fan of warm gunge being poured into her outfits. :thumbsup:
