I think I like the tan/grey color of this Kaolin and it's ability to really cling better than the really white kaolin. I'll have to ask your friend which variety he used.
I'm so happy that I was able to host you for a few days on your U.S. trip. The mud was certainly a super fun bonus, but I enjoyed taking you around to some of the area as well.

Lol. Now I don't remember who shared the pics with me, you DC or Muddy. Either way they were very hot and definitely rekindled my interest in getting muddy.
I appreciate the thought, but I'm not personally much for clothes and wam. I love the feel of it on my skin to much. I'll sometimes start off in shorts or boxers, just to add a bit anticipation to eventually getting naked, but as you've probably seen from my videos, clothes are not a big consideration.
Also, I will say that if you are willing to risk visiting a quarry (vs some area on public land), it's not hard to find potential spots. The spot in Wisconsin I found literally two days after moving here. And I'm not using any wizardry. Just looking over the Google Maps tool right on google.com with the satellite view until I find a quarry with what looks like settling ponds, then make a trip to check it out. You just have to be willing to make the effort.
It's not that it's so rare or I want to keep it to myself or such. The main reason is that quarry locations are private property and the more people visit them and leave any evidence of such, the greater the chance the quarry might tighten their security, so a site as such really can't handle like a dozen people visiting it often. Could it handle a couple more? Probably, but then I'd have to pick and choose who I share with an I don't want to play favorites, so I just blanket don't share.
This pic series was both an encouragement for me to get more involved in the WAM community and also very much of a confirmation of "Yeah, I think I'm gay" for me.
I remember these from back in the days of yahoo groups and wishing lick heck I knew where it was or could find something similar. Thanks again for sharing!

Speaking of Togwotee Pass, I always love checking in on this stop sign up at the Wind River Lake pull off. I have a picture of me standing next to it. I'm 6'2" and the top of it is a good 3 feet above me. Some seasons, it will get covered over completely.
Crazy thing is I instantly recognized where this is. It's an area of Wyoming along the Wind River valley just outside of Dubois, WY. It's an area I love to visit for fly-fishing. Beautiful area.

Seems like videos where the preview is landscape, but the video itself if portrait are having issues. Fluff pie bucket and NLF Week #11 have the same issue, but videos like Yellow Gunge where the preview is portrait don't have the issue. Not sure if it's a setting deal or what.
It's a shame they don't allow it. I've often thought about working it into one of my videos. I mean, I understand it as you have to draw a line vs having a constant debate over what's ok and what's not, and they are trying to keep the site to specific content. Still, it can be a natural mix with getting muddy.

If it makes a difference, I had known him for like 9 years before we ever did anything. Met him a long time back for lunch when he was in town for the pride parade here, so we at least had a chance to meet and talk a bit first in a non WAM setting.

MuddyMcMudd has lots of video from my visit, but as it's his place, I'm letting him decide how he wants to distribute it. It's also a lot to edit and I don't think he's really had the time for it.
From the look of it, I'm pretty sure this is from the mud episode of Real Sex on HBO. I think Dave Lodoski coordinated with them building a mud pit in the desert.
They aren't showing sideways to me. Might be something with your display, but they show normal orientation for me. At least as much as any of us are normal orientation. ;)
It's posted property, as is any quarry area really, so it comes with the requisite risks. I actually don't use this spot anymore since it looks like they are monitoring it more. Doubt it's because of my use. More likely they've had some theft or vandalism.
