The video opens with Leila Hazlett putting on her makeup and doing her hair at the studio. She then checks her dancer costume and heads off for the production. Along the way, she gets lost, calling a friend before wandering further into the marsh. She decides to cross a mud flat, removing her flats, leaving only the dark tights and white leotard on. She gets stuck, sinks to her knees, but gets out. She tries a different spot, sinks up to her hips before getting out. On the third try, she crawls out to another spot and starts sinking even further. She ends up chin deep in the dark mud before she begins a slow, self-rescue, reaching up with her hands and pulling herself free. Lots of squelching mud noises in this scene. There is an alternative, grim ending, where she submerges. Lots of closeups of Leila struggling in the mire--a natural location, with thick, deep mud.
