Latest trip to find mud at the estuary. Got seriously stuck this time in boots and rainwear and was a real struggle to get out! Parts of it off camera were even deeper but I didn't go too far in case I got completely stuck. Might have to take someone with me next time to help out!

The tidal mud I've played in had a very high clay content, like this one, which makes it fun to waddle in and to get stuck in. Only problem - it wasn't very secluded, but rather quite close to a very popular ocean beach

. Still, it was really fun to do, and quite memorable.

Doesn't give off much of a smell tbf. It's tidal so isn't stagnant or anything.
