Lucy walked merrily in the woods near the river. She danced and jumped, not noticing a hidden trap in the grass. Suddenly her leg fell into a slimy mud covered with duckweed and algae...

Lucy fell right into the quicksand and immediately began to sink deeper. She tried to get out and almost succeeded, but slipped on slippery grass and fell back into bog.

Then Lucy groped a wooden stick nearby and tried to help herself. However, she could not find the bottom, stick simply went down.

Lucy was left without any help and support, and quagmire quickly sucked her in completely.

When her head is sunk under mud, her hands are still visible for a while, she continues to move and flounder, and then air bubbles appear on the surface.
