Personally would not recommend stepping foot into this area as it is considered private property. For myself that was there, I heard few loud popping noises and looked to the right at the river it appeared there were splashes as if bullets made contact with the water that's when I realized someone in that area has fired gunshots near my vicinity as a warning to leave and not trespass the area. I would not suggest visiting the area, but if insist so the area is located within Austin's Colony neighborhood at a private park which is near the Colorado River. While it was fun mudding there, I don't feel safe as the region looks potential susceptible to landslides.
