Test of a different "Jet Stream" version.
Just to clarify in the first part of the video I only held the bottom of the hose just in case it popped out during the test as I wanted to make sure I could also film it from the second angle at least before any failure--when shooting from the second angle I let the full force of the water hit the bottom to ensure it didn't pop out before then seeing if I could improve the angle the water was coming out at.
Given how strongly the first jet stream came out my suspicion is that the hose which has been squished a lot in transit is slowing down flow rate therefore making the stream less effective--will try again with a new hose, and/or maybe a thinner jet nozzle fixture (or a vertical fan nozzle) or see whether shortening the hose will get better results--however shortening the hose will be last thing to try as obviously with less distance for the liquid to fall the less kinetic energy it gains to shoot outwards.
However if this feature can be made to work the intent is to add a second hose on the other side of the front of the tank to spray from both sides.
I can always use the remainder of these hoses to make a clothes/knicker filling tank hose even if this particular feature doesn't work in the end.
