Took a bet to complete 30 pushups and avoid the pit. If I fail, not only do I faceplant into the muck, but I have to bury my entire head beneath the thick sludge. Thing is, I accepted this challenge at the end of a really long day and was already exhausted. Oh well, it still doesn't make up for my utter failure here.
