Use a lemon scented dish detergent, let it soak in your bathtub in COLD water for a couple of hours. Rinse it really well and repeat if necessary. Then you can use lukewarm water after that. Most of my PVC is not lined, so in my final step I actually use close to boiling water to finish cleaning. It just takes time and patience if you want to keep your PVC like semi new. The stuff that is lined doesn't last that long anyway, maybe a couple of years if you're lucky.
