@SethJamba Love that. In that case, if it were me in this situation, even if the invitation said very casual wear, I'd make sure to show up in a three-piece black tie, Tom Ford tuxedo. I'll interpret western attire by wearing leather patent boots instead of patent leather monkstraps, play up the cocky city slicker, corporate law role, and ham it up when the other patrons get fed up with Mr. Better Than Everyone Else and empty the entire menu all over me.
He was invited to the rodeo but had no western attire to go in. He decided to just go in his best and wear a cowboy hat. When he entered, he saw some sort of pie contest. He was immediately interested and went over to the booth. The moment he sat down, pies were trained on him much to his confusion. Unfortunately he did not read the sign fully, as it was a "Pie Throwing Contest," and he was the target.
Looks like it takes two pies to get you outta your hat. How many does it take to get you outta everything? ;-)
