Happy to hear that guys enjoyed the Mud Weekend! Unfortunately, I was absent for much of it since I came down with a cold that still hasn't left. Was bummed to miss getting muddy with other mudmen. Fingers crossed for next year.
Thanks to MudMike, MudMuscle and MuddyBuck for hosting this weekend at CRC. It was an amazing adventure and everyone was so accommodating and welcoming! I will definitely be back next summer.

I've got a great question that I imagine some of the others going may have: How early can we get into any of the mud pits on Friday, if check in is at 1pm? I'd personally love to get into the mud as soon as I get my camp set up on Friday.
I have one other question. Is it appropriate to bring other "gunging" stuff to the campground? I have an inflatable pool with about 4+ gallons of non-toxic Crayola paints. Do the iwners frown upon this? I wouldn't mind doing this away from the campsites if appropriate. Thoughts?? Thanks!!
DCMudPuppy: Yes, thanks for the advice; VERY helpful! I'm one of those "virgin" mudders coming to CRC this weekend. I'm hoping people show me "the ropes" (and other things), and I DO intend to enjoy each other along with the mud!!
DCMudPuppy thanks for all the advice. I'm looking forward to a great muddy weekend. Bought some swimming earplugs for sure. I had heard that the mosquitoes were really bad there too. Hopefully the bog won't be under water next weekend.

(cont. - pt. 3) The outdoor mudpit often needs a help after not being used a few days, but stirs up nicely, just get in and start mixing. Great consistency, and more room to "spread out" (sort of) in it. Not QUITE as big an issue as the sliphole, but try to conserve/replace the clay and clean each-other before exiting.
If planning to go to both sliphole and outdoor pit (or the bog), go in that order, as you don't want to inadvertently bring residual outdoor mud into the sliphole dome.
Depending on temps, after dark mudding at the outdoor mudpit might be an option. You'd need a light source, so if anyone has them, and if the campground permits them , bring some tiki torches. Mudplay/mudsex by torch light makes for a great evening.

(continued - pt.2) The slip hole is an enclosed dome that gets VERY hot during the day, the kaolin does cool you off, but drink plenty of water. It's VERY slippery in there, use caution moving around. The kaolin also gets into your ears better than other mud/clay, so if ear drainage is an issue for you, swimmer's type plugs are a good idea, especially if head/dunking. That clay is there because others brought it to the site, so conserve as much as you can, remove as much as you can before exiting the dome. Besides, scraping it off of each other can be great fun.....

I deleted my prior comment as a miracle has happened and I am back on schedule to get out there! My work is giving me a run that ends in Detroit (near New Boston) on Thursday! I'm still planning on renting a car unless there is someone else going from the Detroit area who might be able to give me and my camping gear a ride to on Friday and back on Sunday.
Looks like it's only a week away and I'm so excited. I got a camping spot, anyone know how far away the basic tenting area is from the mud pits? Gonna be there all day Friday, but only a half day on Saturday. Gonna be my first real time in the mud can't wait to lose my mud virginity.
Update: I canceled my RSVP for this day as I won't be traveling up until the evening of this day, but I'll still be here on Saturday. Hopefully, I'll have enough time for everything

Mudmuscle and MuddyBuck, thanks for the invite to the mud social on 8/1. I'll definitely be there and look forward to getting muddy with all of you guys! Definitely looking forward to the weekend, certainly could use some good mud time.
Does anyone know if you can reserve a day pass for that Friday and Saturday in advance???? Procrastinated too long not to get a place at the campground and am worried about the availability of day passes .......I assume it's first come first serve thing but thought I'd see if anyone has info

Really wish I was going to make this event. Hopefully there will be some pics and videos. And if you don't want your visible just dunknit in the mud! Although I'll admit I like to see then clean to muddy progression.
Update on my end. I can not locate that Tom of Finland Play mat I was planning on bringing. I will have a couple of tarps though for mud/lube/slime wrestling activities. (I may still find it, as there are still a few weeks to keep looking!)
I mentioned it eariler, but for anyone that wants to participate, I plan to create a video in the swamp bog of me being drug in while clothed and submerged, and come back out transformed into a naked mud creature. (Some camera tricks will be used for safety. A sexual element is involved but this will be simulated because it would require me to be submerged for longer than is safe.). I really need to have at least three plus myself for this sequence. (Word of caution: I honestly don't know how to blur or censor faces in videos, so those who want to be in it should be comfortable with having their face on camera.)
Wish I could make it! Would love to see some photos from it in case anyone does manage to get any!
The distances there aren't far, and the campgrounds are pretty much on a flat spot, so no hill climbing is involved. Definitely bring your bug spray.......
I know MudMikeNudeSTUDinMUD would know this for sure, but if my memory serves, the manmade mud pit is probably about 500-1000 feet away from the bunkhouse? I know the slip pit (clay pit) requires a little bit of a walk to get to (maybe like a three minute walk if you walk with a purpose?). I don't know where the swamp bog is (didn't get to find it last time I was there due to a lot of prior rain).
In case anyone wants, I have a tent spot across from one of the mud pits, and will have one of those Tom of Finland play mats in case guys want to just hang out without having to clean up. I know it's not mud, but I'm also planning on bringing a twister mat to do naked cum lube twister/wrestling with in case anyone wants to play a few rounds, and perhaps a video of the "cum beast" (or beasts) wandering around the woods looking for prey. I'm also planning on going to the swamp bog for a midnight mud wallow (if safe to do so) and I do hope to engage in more sexual activities in the mud as well (when suitable). I've spoken with the office clerk at CRC about the availability of day passes, as I had thought all accommodations were sold out. He said that they normally don't sell out, except for GLOW weekend. But ultimately I found a spot in the bunkhouse. As of this morning, there is still one bunk bed available. Hope that helps
I just booked a spot in the bunkhouse for a week. Also secured my direct flight to Lansing. I'm very excited about this. Haven't been mudding in a long time. Will be great to spend hours in the mud every day. Open to topping mud bottoms
Just got my camping spot booked for the weekend! Hoping to be able to create a mud video, involving being drug into the swamp bog mud while clothed and after a submersion come back out naked transformed as a mud creature, and if someone is inclined some sexual act can take place after the transformation. (Open to creating other mud content too!). Planning to spend as much time as possible covered in mud or clay. :-)
I'm still figuring out the logistics, but it would be awesome if any of my mutuals were interested in splitting the cost of a Deluxe Cabin...
Still not sure if I can get out there this summer, but having done so in years past, it's definitely worth it. CRC is a nice campground, and is the most mud-friendly I have been to. Ground/water temps are warm enough there by late June/early July, and stay that way through August. This is not the ONLY time mudplay will be available there, so don't fret if you can't make this particular weekend.
Can guys just show up for the day? Does anyone know if it's frowned upon being in the pool fully clothed? I'd also be in the mud!! If someone could "smuggle" me in as I'm close enough to drive there for the day.

Well as of today the only available accommodations are in the bunkhouse or tent camping. Really surprised it booked up that quick. And only one rental RV this year there were two last year. Very disappointed with CRC, no notice as to when they were taking reservations. All the other campgrounds give you the date so you can jump in.
This sounds amazing, spending the whole weekend playing naked in the mud with others.
