I love those kind of mud pits. Thick and sticky. Ultimate fantasy is to be sucked under in mud like that. . . those sounds are making me hungry for bottomless mud. unnnf.

It really is a great spot. It's secluded and the path to it is really overgrown, and the main trail itself is deserted because it's a "wildlife management area" and not a park. There's even a cleanup spot with moving water that washes the mud downstream.
