@Johndoe906 I usually fill the tank bucket at a time right down the middle. The first colour in usually covers the edges of the tank and is usually the last out. It's not an exact science though. Sometimes I intentionally fill it near the front edge so more different colours can be seen.

I must agree. Yes I can pick out which colours go in the tank, in which order, but they wouldn't make such beautiful patterns were it not for such a wonderful canvas underneath to receive them.
