It was cold and it had just snowed a few days beforehand. I decided to dress up in a striped dress shirt tucked into my pants, and go to a nearby pond to "break the ice" (ha ha). My body tingled with excitement as I prepared to get wet wearing my nice clothes. I step onto the ice, a little nervous that the frozen layer beneath my feet would give way before I was ready to. I walk around and then I got to a spot close to the shore where the ice was thin. Jackpot! I break the ice and fall through, and proceed to climb back up onto the ice and fall through several more times, without dunking my head under though. It felt chilly but great coming out of the pond with my wet, clingy, attire.
