After the UMD Meet-Up in Vegas I decided to record my thoughts while on my long drive home and boy, was I feeling sooo much. Looking back, I'm so glad I captured my feelings so fresh after experiencing them--and I'm excited to share them with you all now (get ready for some tears!) Words could never fully describe the beauty and magic that I experienced and encountered on this trip. I'm still so grateful for the experience and for all of the beautiful souls that I met, got messy with and shared space with while in Vegas. The UMD community is one of the tightest and most committed communities I have ever been a part of--I'm so incredibly grateful for you all. The more honest I am with myself, the more I find that I am not someone who processes quickly. It takes time for the experiences I go through to really integrate into my body, mind and life. It takes even longer for me to be able to clearly share my thoughts with others (especially on an online platform). I hope that you all enjoy this sentiment even though it is being shared months after the trip. Making this video was nerve-wracking (you can tell I was nervous)--and it can be hard to be so vulnerable but it's worth it. Until next time <3.
