Six layers of cake each dyed the colors of the rainbow. This cake is made with a Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream which is also between each layer. The outside of this cake is frosted with red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I added a rainbow to the top made out of frosting. There are clouds scattered throughout the rainbow with occasional raindrops. You can see the glistening of the the sun from the reflection of the gold leaf.
