Me, before heading out: "The boots have been in the rain before, so no big deal; but I'm not going in the river! And absolutely no mud! These are going to be my daily drivers!"
Me, on the trail: "I'm totally going in the river, and I bet I can find some great mud!"
My leggings: *rolling their eyes, because they met me before*
My boots: "Yay!!!!!111!"

Ugh! You and your spoilers! I suppose you *think* you already know about the remaining photos over the next two days, hmmm? And then the return trip I have planned as soon as I recover and regain my strength? Well, I'm not going to hint about them, that's for sure! ;P
No, they're... more than a year old, because I wore them last September to some highland games. The new boots I was breaking in will have to wait... the heel is low, and chonky... but my ankle is still messed up from that pinched nerve aftermath.
Harley: I haven't been back to this particular spot since - water level is lower, but it should still be fun... but wait until you see the mud I "found" today! One of my favorite spots downriver, that I haven't been too for a few years! I might try to go back tomorrow, with more battery. And also to get some pics sitting on the rocks way out in the river!
You are a brave man standing up in the slime! It gets so slippily! I slid into it and stayed there until it was all broken down and rinsed out! Yoikes!
It really did! The milky scent from this and the peanut butter cream shot hasn't quite fully washed out of the inside of the PVC... so I probably need to shower in them again...
